  1. Firstly boil half a cup of chopped pineapple in water for 10 minutes.
  2. As the pineapple is boiling, roast 2 tbsp sesame seeds and keep aside, also roast 2 tbsp urad dal, ½ methi, 6 dried red chilies, and a few curry leaves with oil
  3. Next, add coconut and water and blend it to a smooth paste
  4. Now add ¼ cup tamarind juice, ½ tbsp turmeric, 5 tbsp jaggery, salt to taste.
  5. Mix everything well then cover it and simmer for 15 minutes then add the prepared masala paste.
  6. Adjust the consistency by adding more water if required
  7. Simmer it for 10 minutes and keep stirring occasionally
